Well supposedly PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) thinks so.  Besides doing things like jumping on the stage at an awards show and taking the mic from a winning candidate, Kanye and Amber Rose wore these high priced coats during Paris Men’s Fashion Week and refused to take them off.  Vice President of PETA Dan Matthews stated, “He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo.”

First, I wonder who asked him to take off his coat?  Did they think that hanging his fur on the back of his seat would make things better? Secondly, if Kanye wants to wear furs, that’s his business.  Do I like the look of them?  Short answer; not really.  Wearing a fur coat is an act that only a handful of people choose to do, i.e. pimps, choice people from urban areas (you know what I am talking about) and pretentious rich folks.  My thoughts, if you are a normal working class individual driving a coupe or mid-size vehicle, stick with pea or trench coats, hoodies and trendy H&M jackets.  There are many options out there that are stylish, yet unique enough to set you apart from the rest.

In short, unless you are trying to overcompensate for something or play/played for a professional sports team, make PETA happy and spend your money on something other than a fur coat.
