So, I finally bought a tie clip and after all of the pondering and second-guessing…I love it! The tie clip definitely takes a shirt/tie combination to another level. A couple things to remember when wearing one:
- The tie clip should go between your third and fourth button or between the top of your abs and the bottom of your pecs.
- Don’t take your tie off without removing the clip first unless you want to rip it…the tie that is.
- Keep it basic, you don’t need a clip that resembles a machine gun or a Lamborghini (shot at Soulja Boy)
- Please DON’T wear a silver tie clip if you have a gold buckle on your shoes…in short, match the metals all the way around!
Trust me on this one, once you try it you will feel nude without it.
